Hype Global started at HLH Seoul in September 2025, the first in-person Hyperliquid hackathon. 250+ builders showed up, and 60 teams shipped on Hyperliquid. Hyperliquid’s founder sat on the jury.

That weekend made the gap obvious. Hyperliquid had the technology, the liquidity, and the builders. What it didn’t have was a place for those builders to be in the same room. The protocol was being built in the open. The community around it lived in group chats and timelines. We decided it needed somewhere real to meet, and started building it ourselves.

That is the whole company. We run hackathons where teams go from an idea to a shipped project in one weekend. We run meetups on the weeks the industry is already in one city, around TOKEN2049, EthCC, and Consensus. And we keep the Hyperliquid ecosystem directory, a hand-curated map of every serious project on the chain, so the work outlives the event that surfaced it.

None of it is a generic crypto conference. There are no rented booths and no pay-to-speak panels. Each room is built for the people actually shipping, and for the funds and partners who want to meet them before everyone else does.

Here is the bet we are making. Every important ecosystem gets built twice: once in the code, and once in the rooms where the people behind it meet. Hyperliquid is building the rails to house all of finance. Our job is to make sure that wherever its builders gather next, from Singapore this October to every crypto week that follows, the room is already there and the name on the door is Hyperliquid.
